Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide.This position will be located in Casper, WY at our JW Williams facility (a company of Westerman, Inc).This position requires employees to be on-site and work in the shop. Successful candidates will be required to live in Casper or within a reasonable commuting distance.

Relocation assistance is available and can be discussed during the interview process.**SALARY MAY BE NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE**$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for qualified candidatesSUMMARY The Welder is responsible for set-up and operation of advanced welding equipment. This position uses expertise to solve problems and eliminate scrap, rework and downtime while effectively repairing defective products. The appearance of the repair work must be at an acceptable level and meet high quality standards. The Welder is also responsible for making sure all work is done to specification.

A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met. This is a safety sensitive position.Primary ResponsibilitiesRead specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of materials required.Bolt aligned structural steel members in position for permanent riveting, bolting, or welding into place.Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope.Hoist steel beams, girders, or columns into place, using cranes or signaling hoisting equipment operators to lift and position structural steel members.Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment.Force steel components into final positions, using turnbuckles, crowbars, jacks, or hand tools.Pull, push, or pry steel components into approximate positions for bolting into place.Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting as needed.Assemble hoisting equipment or rigging, such as cables, pulleys, or hooks, to move heavy equipment or materials.Fabricate metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders, according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.Dismantle structures or equipment.Welding of separators, glycol absorbers, piping large and heavy wall vessels and flow coils.
