4th Shift Technical Lead – Semiconductor Fab

Location: Andover, MA – 100% on‑site (weekend 4th shift)

Responsibilities

  • Direct a group of skilled process engineers to fabricate advanced microelectronic devices according to technology roadmaps.
  • Make real‑time production decisions and review process changes to improve process yields.
  • Identify and champion process improvement opportunities and facilitate open communication between functional teams.
  • Oversee project schedules and costs, drive capital acquisition and qualification, and execute development activities for the foundry.
  • Allocate team resources effectively to support oversight of foundry processes and assist in identifying future capital investment needs.
  • Interface with operations management and the department manager on manpower and resource planning.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the foundry floor to understand technical and logistical issues.
  • Manage multitasking and attention to detail while prioritizing commitments to customers and programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (advanced STEM degree may substitute for 3 years of experience).
  • Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience with semiconductor processing or process integration.
  • Experience with III‑V semiconductor processing (GaAs, GaN, GaSb) and/or acoustic semiconductor processes.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and related software.
  • Proficiency in root‑cause analysis and strong analytical skills.
  • Customer focus and collaboration skills.
  • Project scheduling and management experience.
  • Previous experience with a defense contractor and/or government agency.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a STEM field (preferred).

Salary Range

107,500 USD – 204,500 USD (good‑faith estimate for all experience levels).
