From small community improvements to grand-scale Mega Projects, you will be Building a World of Difference through infrastructure growth and development while learning and focusing on your own individual development.Key Responsibilities:Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set by the project managers based off client needsAssist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgetsAssist the Engineering Manager in managing sub-consultantsUnder the direction of the Engineering Manager, interface directly with the client or sub-consultantsSupport business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation to clientsUtilizes knowledge of regularly used civil concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the water engineering industryApplies knowledge to complex projects, find and develop non-standard design solutions to better serve clients project specificationsProvide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced engineersResponsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project teamPrepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables.
Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. Prepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles. Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Plans and conducts independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
