Can make up to $33.25/hour with generous volume-based incentive payJob SummaryThe 3rd Shift Order Selectors are responsible for the safe and accurate selection, checking and loading of product onto route trucks, and ensuring that all company safety policies are followed at all times. In addition, 3rd Shift Order Selectors perform other work assignments as directed by the Outbound Warehouse Manager.Essential FunctionsBusinessUtilize the voice pick system, retrieve product from the pick area for beverage center and/or route truck for pick-up or deliveryVerify the accuracy of each load based on the load sheet and coordinate with the loader to ensure corrections are made as necessaryPalletize and shrink wrap product when necessaryLoad route box and side-load trucks by order or by specific brandCheck for damaged product to ensure that product does not get loaded and shipped to the customerFollow all company safety policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by the Night Warehouse ManagerPeopleSupport Re-stockers, Loaders and Checkers in their respective functionsSelf-OrganizationPick-up breakage, miscellaneous wood, and plastic from the work areaMaintain general housekeeping standardsConduct end of shift cleanup proceduresProductivity – all selectors must maintain a pick rate of 250+ cases per man-hour.Quality (Accuracy & Breakage) – all selectors are expected to achieve or exceed the goal of.51 cases/1,000 case equivalents picked.Required SkillsHigh School graduate or general education degree (GED)3 months or more warehouse or related experienceStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to comply with company safety proceduresAbility to safely operate all required equipment (i.e. Forklift, Walkie Rider.)Work Shift RequirementsAbility to work additional hours as needed.Use and maintenance of company-issued equipment.Must speak to supervisor to notify him/her any time prior to the beginning of work shift when calling in sick.
