Machine OperatorThe Machine Operator II in Truesdale, MO is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production machinery to deliver high-quality products in a safe and cost-effective manner. This role monitors production lines, maintains equipment performance, and ensures compliance with all safety, quality, and food safety standards. Apply to this opportunity at a union facility today!Machine Operator Responsibilities:Operate and monitor production machinery to maintain consistent product output and qualityMaintain proper production flow by identifying and addressing upstream and downstream issuesSupply raw materials to machines and ensure continuous operationPerform equipment changeovers according to standard proceduresInterpret production schedules and communicate any delays or issues to leadershipAccurately complete production, downtime, and quality documentationFollow all Quality Assurance standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including GMP, SQF, and HACCP guidelinesIdentify raw material or production defects and take corrective actionConduct visual and basic quality inspections during production runsPerform minor machine adjustments and troubleshootingComplete daily and weekly preventive maintenance as requiredMaintain equipment cleanliness and operational readinessAdhere to all workplace safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with sanitation standardsParticipate in safety initiatives and comply with all regulatory requirementsWork cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teamsSupport training and onboarding of new employees when neededCommunicate effectively regarding production performance and equipment issuesRequirements for Machine Operator:High School Diploma or equivalent required1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferredExperience in high-speed beverage or food production environments strongly preferredAbility to operate and troubleshoot industrial machinery independentlyBasic math and measurement skills (metric and imperial systems)Ability to read gauges, thermometers, and production dataStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in documentationEffective communication and teamworkHigh level of safety awarenessAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentIND124 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
