3rd Shift CNC Laser Operator

Cnc Laser OperatorWe are currently hiring an experienced CNC Laser Operator for a metal manufacturing and fabrication facility in Fairfield, OH. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser machines to support high-quality and efficient production in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment while following all safety and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC laser machinesLocate and load the correct laser programs into the machineLoad and unload sheet metal and finished parts using proper material handling equipmentVerify machine settings and monitor equipment throughout productionTroubleshoot machine and processing issues as neededInspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality using precision measuring toolsPerform grinding, dressing, deburring, and other secondary operations as requiredPerform routine machine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenanceIdentify and report machine, material, or quality issuesMaintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety proceduresParticipate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiativesRequirements1+ years of CNC laser or CNC equipment operating experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience working with sheet metal and metal fabrication preferredBasic math skillsExperience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring toolsFamiliarity with CNC laser machine setup, operation, and basic maintenanceAbility to troubleshoot machine and production issuesMust be able to become certified to operate powered industrial equipmentBasic computer skills for loading programs and entering production or quality informationAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. throughout the shiftAbility to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent experiencePay: $22.00–$25.00/hour Shift: 3rd Shift Location: Fairfield, OH
