Expertise in electrical systems and problem-solving skills are essential.Responsibilities:Battery installation, maintenance, and repair - performing installations, maintenance, and repair of batteries in different types of equipmentTroubleshooting - identifying and resolving issues related to battery performance and operationRecord keeping - maintaining accurate records of battery inventory, maintenance, and repair activitiesTraining - providing training and guidance to other team members and customers on proper battery handling and maintenance proceduresSafety compliance - ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines related to battery storage, handling, and disposalRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent certificate is required.At least 2 years of experience in related field is preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Experience in repairing and maintaining batteries of various types, including lead-acid, lithium-ion, and nickel-cadmium.Good understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols.Ability to use specialized tools and equipment for battery maintenance and repair.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Good communication skills and ability to provide clear explanations to customers regarding battery maintenance and repair procedures.Shift 2 Monday- Thursday 4:30 pm- 3:00 amFull time 500 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320 DC1 Dollar Tree
