Material Handler - 3rd Shift
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Bartlett, IL area, is seeking Material Handlers to join their team! This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Position Details:

• Pay: $18.00 an hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

Position Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for supplying raw materials, packaging materials, and inserts to injection molding machines while ensuring production runs efficiently. This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining material flow, tracking inventory usage, moving finished goods, and following quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the daily production schedule to prepare and deliver raw materials to injection molding machines.
• Communicate with previous shift material handlers regarding production issues, material shortages, or equipment concerns.
• Move resin, inserts, and production materials from designated storage areas to assigned machines.
• Accurately record resin and insert lot numbers on required production documents.
• Supply packaging materials to assigned production presses.
• Transport finished goods pallets from work centers to designated staging areas.
• Clean dryers and filters using a vacuum as needed to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Set and monitor dryer temperatures according to job specifications.
• Sort and segregate recyclable waste materials before disposal in recycling dumpsters or compactors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Prior manufacturing or material handling experience preferred but not required .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
