Warehouse SupervisorThe Warehouse Supervisor at Rudolph Foods is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods and raw materials. This role plays a critical part in maintaining food safety standards, inventory accuracy, team productivity, and on-time delivery to customers while supporting Rudolph Foods' commitment to quality and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities Operations & Inventory ManagementSupervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shippingEnsure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and proper documentationCoordinate product flow to support production schedules and customer deliveriesMonitor warehouse capacity, layout, and material handling processes for efficiencyEnsure proper handling and rotation of products following FIFO/FEFO practicesTeam Leadership & SchedulingLead, train, coach, and motivate warehouse associates to meet performance and safety goalsAssign work, manage labor schedules, approve timecards, and ensure adequate staffing levelsConduct performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action as neededSupport onboarding and ongoing training for warehouse employeesSafety, Quality & ComplianceEnforce OSHA, food safety (GMPs), HACCP, and company safety standards at all timesEnsure a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environmentParticipate in internal and external audits and implement corrective actionsReport and investigate safety incidents, near misses, and product quality issuesSystems & ReportingUtilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems to track inventory and shipmentsPrepare and review operational reports related to productivity, accuracy, safety, and shipping performanceCommunicate effectively with Production, Quality, Transportation, and Customer Service teamsContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce waste, and increase efficiencySupport continuous improvement initiatives and company operational goalsAssist with special projects as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in food manufacturing or CPG1–3 years of supervisory or lead experienceKnowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practicesWorking knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and OSHA requirementsBasic computer skills; experience with WMS/ERP systems preferredPreferred Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership, communication, and team-building skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlinesProblem-solving mindset with attention to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environmentBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periodsExposure to warehouse conditions including temperature variations and equipment noiseAbility to operate or oversee material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)Able to work 2nd Shift (6pm to 3am)Pay Range: $71,500 and $72,500Why Join Rudolph Foods?Rudolph Foods is a family-owned snack food manufacturer with a strong commitment to quality, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
