2nd Shift Warehouse Associate - Order SelectorKuna Foodservice - Dupo, IL 62239Salary Range$22.00 - $24.00 HourlyJob DescriptionJob Title: 2nd Shift Warehouse AssociateFLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00Department: WarehousePurpose: This position responds to high volume orders by picking, loading trucks and replenishing stock to ensure orders are ready for delivery within the required timeframe for all job functions.Reports To: Warehouse SupervisorEssential Functions:Inspects assigned equipment before usingFollows designated checklistCharges pallet jack battery as neededReports problems to supervisorInspects optical scanner to ensure proper operationReports problems to supervisorObtain picking labels from designated area or personVerifies they all belong to same delivery routeEnters correct information into scanner before selection orders (for purposes of productivity and quality auditing)Operate various warehouse equipment safely necessary to fill orders with commercially acceptable products from specified locations within the warehouse.Confirm accuracy of selection with optical scannerPuts proper labels on products ensuring labels are visible to delivery driverSets products on palletsRight side upUses acceptable quality palletsCarefully organizes items so they are safe/secure; placingHeaviest items on the bottomProducts inside confines of the palletToxic substances correctlyDelivers pallets to correct shipping locationArrange in order as they will be loaded on trucksMeet established standards; productivity, quality, damage and safetyMaintain safe, organized workplaceFollows pallet jack operating requirementsUses designated traffic patternsPuts damaged products in allocated areaRemoves broken pallets and debris from warehouse islesWears required safety equipmentSafety shoesComplete all picking and loading activities are completed daily. (Overtime may be required to ensure activities are completed each day.)Complete picking activities in all warehouse locations (Dry, Cooler, Freezer)Performs loading, housekeeping, maintenance and other assigned tasksAttend all required company meetings.Adhere to all safety practices and company policies.QualificationsMust be able to be certified on all equipment used on shift by Kuna Foodservice.Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalentMust be at least 18 years of ages.Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.Must have sufficient reasoning capabilities to solve practical problems (Ex.: Is product commercially acceptable? Is this the product the customer ordered?)Must be able to hear commands given via pick-to-voice application.Must have basic math skills.Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures.
