Quality Assurance Lab TechnicianOverall Goal of Position:Be an interracial part of producing quality products.5:00 pm - 3:30 am (Tuesday - Friday)Starting Wage $19.75 and up (Plus $1.75/hour Shift Differential)Job Summary:Primary responsibilities are collecting, testing and documenting quality dressing, mayonnaise and sauces. Included in overall duties is to take samples, record and report accurately. Monitoring safe and sanitary conditions throughout plant using and enforcing GMPs.
Requires close communication and coordination with production supervisor, packaging operators, maintenance, and warehousing.What will you do?Perform quality checks in the mainline or Portion control departments.Ability to perform analytical testing on batched samples and record data.Pulling finished product samples for retains and micro analysis.Performs x-ray examinations on lines.Ability to test for moisture and fat on products.Pre and post-op inspectionRedzone familiarization and utilizationTruck inspection audits, having the ability to enter Raw material data.HACCP familiarizationNotifies QC management when Quality issues arise.Performs "Near Miss" submittals monthly.Performance Standards (the criteria that will be used to evaluate performance):Conduct line checks.
