2nd Shift Prototype Machinist Level 2 | Lockheed MartinLockheed Martin Space Production Operations is seeking an Experimental CNC Machinist to join our team in Littleton, CO! In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:Follow instructions to machine, fabricate, or assemble parts to print and operation sheet specifications using CNC machinesInterpret CAD data, prints and sketches regarding fabrication and follow written instructionsSet up and operation of computer numerical controlled vertical machines. Performs such operations as drilling, milling, boring, & threading, etc. on any/all types of work within the scope of the machinePerform secondary operations during machine cycle such as deburring and straightening work areaInspect parts prior to submission and as they are produced using standard gages, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gages, and other measuring devices to ensure conformity to specificationsSelect and install proper cutting tools, zero in the machine to control and make other necessary setup adjustmentsAssist in providing feedback on prescribed processesDesired skills:Completion of Machine Tool Technology program preferredAS9100 environment experienceMastercam 2024/25 experienceLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
