Production WorkerThis role focuses on assembling plastic components, performing quality inspections, and packaging finished products on a fast-paced production line. You will help ensure products meet quality standards, maintain production pace, and prepare items accurately for shipment in a clean, air-conditioned facility.ResponsibilitiesAssemble plastic components and parts according to detailed work instructions and specifications.Perform quality inspections using gauges, measuring tools, and visual checks to ensure products meet established standards.Identify defects, inconsistencies, or nonconforming parts and promptly report issues to supervisors.Package finished products accurately and prepare them for shipment according to packaging and labeling requirements.Maintain the required production pace to meet daily output goals while following safety and quality procedures.Use hand tools and other basic equipment as needed to complete assembly and production tasks.Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including proper use of equipment and adherence to dress code requirements.Use computers as needed to support production tasks, such as tracking work, entering data, or reviewing instructions.Occasionally work mandatory overtime on Saturdays when production demands require it.Essential SkillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.Ability to read and use gauges and other instruments to perform quality checks.Basic experience or comfort with general labor, production, packing, and assembly tasks.Ability to safely use hand tools in a manufacturing or production setting.Comfort using computers to support production activities.At least 1 year of tenure at previous employers, demonstrating reliability and commitment.Willingness to occasionally work mandatory overtime on Saturdays.Strong attention to detail to identify defects and maintain product quality.Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.Experience in general production, manufacturing, or similar environments.Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.Strong work ethic and ability to consistently meet production goals.Why Work Here?The company offers a supportive and stable work environment with tangible rewards for your contributions. You will work around general manufacturing and assembly equipment, including gauges, measuring tools, and hand tools, and you will use computers as part of your daily tasks. The dress code requires closed-toe shoes and jeans to support safety and practicality on the production floor.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Madison, SD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
