Production Supervisor$25.00-$30.00/hour2nd Shift3:00pm-11:30pm (Training 7:00am-3:00pm)Qps Employment Group has a great Production Supervisor position available at a company in Hazelwood, MO. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.Production Supervisor Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production personnel across assigned shiftsEnsure production schedules are met in a timely, efficient, and safe mannerMonitor and maintain quality control standards and address any issues that may arise with product quality or consistencyOversee mold changes, machine startups, and troubleshooting, working closely with process technicians and maintenance teams as neededPromote and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety audits, and ensure a clean and organized work environmentCoach, train, and develop team members to improve skills and increase productivityMonitor employee performance, conduct evaluations, and participate in disciplinary actions when necessaryCommunicate effectively with other departments, including quality, engineering, maintenance, and HR to resolve issues and improve processesTrack and report on production KPIs such as cycle times, scrap rates, downtime, and labor utilizationAssist with staffing decisions, including interviewing, onboarding, and schedulingProduction Supervisor Requirements:1+ years of supervisory or lead experience in plastic injection molding or a similar manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of injection molding processes, equipment, and materialsProven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountableKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plusExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsComfortable using basic computer systems and production software for scheduling and reportingIND999Qps Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
