Other duties may be assigned.Good communication skills & knowledge of basic shop mathAble to read, write and understand basic instructions in EnglishAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAble to learn how to use measurement instrumentsAbility to follow directionAbility to complete first piece verificationMaintain a good attitude and be willing to learnCommunicates effectively with other team members and Production Team LeaderAbility to become certified in lock out/tag outBe familiar with Human Performance tasksMust be able to work in a hot environmentAbility to learn and follow direction specific to Heat Treat processes & proceduresAble to read & understand applicable manufacturing procedures for Heat TreatAble to operate solution shakersAble to operate vacuum furnacesAble to operate VACUDRAW furnacesAble to operate freezer with assistanceAble to read and understand technical product specificationsBe familiar with operation, adjustmentAble to monitor furnace and verify instrumentation as directedProficient in cleaning processesKnowledge of general heat treat requirements for age titanium, stainless steels and solution treatment of all steels, etc.Proficient in verifying paperworkKnowledge of company policies, applicable procedures, and applicable work instructionsUnderstands the procedures of loading, timing, heating quenching etc.Able to inspect parts to be heat treated for FODPerform Rockwell hardness test (when applicable)Able to comprehend and perform preventative maintenance as requiredAble to print process sheets HTPI to process hardwareQualificationsBasic Qualifications:3+ years' of Heat Treat experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, policies and procedure in EnglishEmployee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
