Join us as we take flight!**External applicants will receive a $2,000 sign on bonus.****Third shift hours also available**What You Will DoUse a variety of hand tools to remove burrs, or sharp edges.Perform machine setup and runs on laser marking machinesAssembly of componentsRead, interpret and comprehend, process prints, engineering and quality standards, and other informational drawings and work instructions.Monitor part specific dimensional tolerances while performing the operation & identify non-conforming part featuresMaintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.)Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunitiesFollow work priorities to accomplish production goalsCan handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, and oils (petroleum based products) and chemical vapors from products during the normal manufacturingObtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s)Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned2nd shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pmWhat You Will LearnPrecision deburring process to print specifications.Set-up and operation of laser markersReading/interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Cross-functional collaboration through various types of manufacturing and processes.Gain experience with a variety of inspection equipment.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires HS diploma or equivalent or in the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience.Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimalsBasic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and other job-specific applications).Qualifications We PreferExperience with measurement equipment, i.e. gauges, calipers, etc.Experience with basic hand tools.Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
