Harness Technician

Required Skills & Experience: High School Diploma or GED

• 1+ year of experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry and/or Trade School training
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start is required
• Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Certified MSS -SOP Rev B Harnessing Build Standard Practices and Inspection
• Experience working in 100,000 Class cleanrooms with ESD sensitive components

Job Description: We are looking for a Harness Technician to join one of our aerospace clients.

This is a 2nd Shift, 9/80 position, 3PM - 12AM.

Position Responsibilities:

• Fabricate harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems
• Build and terminate high quality wiring harnesses for racks and boxes
• Assemble wire harnesses per J‐STD‐001 space, NASA.STD.8739.4A
• Use hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components
• Use wire harnesses with equipment such as high potential testers, multimeters, force gauges
• Read schematics, harness wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, circuit layouts, and parts lists
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications
• Use computer applications for work documentation
• Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair

Pay Rate: $29.42/hr - $47.09/hr
