Inside The RoleThis position is responsible for completion of the robotic weld process adding material to various engine blocks, heads, and components to be machined back to quality standards by way of the remanufacturing process. Primary responsibilities include operation of Fanuc Robot flame spray cell, Fanuc Robot blaster cell, shaker, and complete quality checks.We Take Care Of Our TeamStarting pay of $20.70/hr. up to top pay of $29.21/hr.* Additional shift differential for off-shifts.Benefits include: 401k includes up to 8% match and non-elective contribution, full coverage benefit plan options, starting at 4 weeks paid vacation, 8-10 calendar holidays, paid sick/disability leave (including sick days), 8 weeks paid paternal leave, employee assistance program; comprehensive health and wellness programs, and tuition assistance.Perform Physically Demanding Manufacturing DutiesRepetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work proceduresOperation of robotic welding processOperate hoist, air tools, hand tools, grinders, and slaggers.Operate robotic cellsProperly identify component parts by learning identification numbersAdhere to established work rotation planComplete training matrix for each rotation positionAbility to read and understand Work Station InstructionsOther tasks and/or duties as requestedActively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughputInstall and assemble components for heavy-duty trucksUse computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copyOperate the following tools and equipment: jigs and fixtures, hoist, air tools, hand tools, grindersKnowledge You Should BringCapable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power toolsAbility to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds.Maintain a clean work area.Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measuresCross train on other jobs as requiredExceptional Candidates Might HavePrevious experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environmentPrevious mechanical experienceHigh School Diploma / GED is preferred and further college education a plusWhere We WorkThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s): Byesville, OH US.
