Bandsaw Operator: Rockford, IllinoisOur customer in Rockford, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Bandsaw Operator to work full-time on 2nd shift. In this role, you’ll support production operations by accurately cutting materials, setting up equipment, and maintaining quality and safety standards.Responsibilities of the Bandsaw Operator:Operate a bandsaw to cut materials accurately according to specifications.Measure materials using tapes, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools as required.Work with close tolerances to ensure parts meet quality standards.Set up, adjust, and prepare bandsaw equipment for efficient operation.Remove chips, steel stringers, and burrs from equipment and surrounding work areas.Clean and maintain equipment to support safe and consistent operation.Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality guidelines at all times.Bandsaw Operator Requirements and Qualifications:Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform physical job duties throughout the shift.Ability to wear required PPE including steel-toed boots.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.Pay for Bandsaw Operator: $16.00/hour.Bandsaw Operator Benefits:Health insurance.Paid time off.401k with company match.Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid training.Type: 2nd Shift, Full-time.Schedule: Monday – Friday from 3:00pm – 11:00pm.
