2nd Shift - Tooling Technician - Injection MoldCategory: ProfessionalLocation: Manor, TX 78653Pay: $38.00 HourlyStatus: OpenDescription2nd Shift - Tooling Technician - Injection MoldIf interested, please call/text or email Shift- 3pm -11pmPayrate: up to $42hrWhat's in it for you?Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday Pay401kPTO/VacationDetailsDirect hire position$38.00 to $42.00/hourSecond shiftPerform tear-down, inspection, repair, and rebuild of injection moldsTroubleshoot mold-related issues causing defects (flash, short shots, splay, etc.)Perform preventative maintenance on molds including cleaning, polishing, and component replacementDiagnose wear patterns and recommend tooling improvements or repairsSupport mold changeovers, startups, and production readinessPerform bench work including fitting, spotting, and minor machining adjustmentsWork with engineering and production to improve mold performance, cycle times, and part qualityMaintain tooling documentation, maintenance logs, and inventory of spare componentsIdentify and escalate recurring tooling issues and drive corrective actionsEnsure compliance with safety procedures, including proper handling of molds and equipmentMaintain organization and cleanliness of tooling and work areasQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of 4 years of hands-on injection molding process experience.Strong understanding of injection molding setup, troubleshooting, and processing.Experience operating or supporting molding machines, robots, and material handling systemsAbility to safely operate overhead cranes and mold lifting equipment.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
