What You’ll Do

• Handle litigation from discovery through trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Support trial attorneys as second chair and assist with trial prep
• Collaborate on case strategy and client advocacy in a fast-paced team setting

Position Overview

You’ll manage a personal injury caseload from inception through resolution with the support of a dedicated team assigned specifically to you. The workload is structured to allow for high-quality, focused advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cases from filing through resolution
• Draft and file pleadings and motions
• Propound and respond to written discovery
• Take and defend depositions (parties, witnesses, experts)
• Handle court appearances, hearings, and case management conferences
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Work closely with support staff and leadership on case strategy

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented with a professional demeanor
