Certification - Applicant must have appropriate NYS Certification as a School Building Leader
Requirements - Current New York State School Building Leader (SBL) Minimum of five years of successful and effective full-time special education teaching experience required
Location - Special Services
Duties - IEP Case Management for CPSE and CSE Processes, Protocols and Procedures connected to NYS Part 200 and IEP development: Participation (Lead Role) in CPSE/CSE Meetings Design and implement Professional Development Opportunities Site Visits to In and Out of District Placements Complete Special Education Academic Evaluations Ensure district special education staff are in compliance with IDEA Forge partnerships and trust with other district departments, principals, school teams, and community stakeholders. Perform additional duties as may be assigned by the Director of Special Education, Assistant Director of Special Education, and/or the Superintendent of Schools.
Salary - Pursuant to the Middletown School Administrators Association (MSAA) Contract
Fingerprint Clearance: Candidates must submit to New York State Department of Education fingerprint clearance.
