21st Century Community Learning Center Grant
This grant will allow for an after-school program for our students, which will include academic support, enrichment workshops, field trips, activity centers, and interest-based clubs. This program will allow the building to be open from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, following the district's calendar for early dismissals and closings. These postings are for the school year only and are PENDING GRANT APPROVAL.
Project Director:
Responsibilities include:
- Management and coordination of the program, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols, and handbooks.
- Completing the required reporting, attending required state meetings, and communicating with the Program Evaluator and the Department of Education
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including hours from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm after school
- Evaluating program staff and communicating with school-day staff to monitor student progress
- Coordinating outside activities, speakers, and programs for our students to align with grant objectives.
- Fostering relationships with outside organizations and programs.
- Maintain student registration paperwork and information matrix.
- Meeting all requirements of the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant (Federal)
- Oversee all curriculum and activities for the program
- Candidate needs to be an NJ certified teacher/ Supervisory certification preferred.
Hourly Rate: $79
20 hours/week (not to exceed $53,720)
10-month position
