Electrical EngineerThe Sensor Power and Analog Design (SPAD) department is seeking electrical engineers with knowledge of analog electronics, power electronics, power systems and servo/motor control systems. The ideal candidate possesses a combination of design experience, electronics knowledge, and hands-on laboratory skills.SPAD is responsible for design engineering in the following areas:Power System Design - Power System Noise, System Simulation and Modeling, Solid State Transmitters, Tube Transmitters, High Voltage Design, Power Sources, GeneratorsPower Conversion - AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies, Power Factor Correction (PFC), Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS), Resonant Circuits, Synchronization, Noise ControlsPower Distribution - Ground, Air, Shipboard, and Space, Power Generation, Line Voltage, High Current, Low Voltage, Micro-Power, DC, AC, Multi-Phase Power Control, Fault Reporting, Isolation, Protection Circuits, Redundant SystemsPower Sub-System Design - Filters, Harmonic Control, EMI, Circuit Simulation, Magnetics, Protective Relay Systems, Short Circuit and Stress AnalysesControl Systems – Servo Control Systems, Motor/Power/Process Control, Digital Feedback Systems, Command Generation, Inertial Stabilization, Navigation AlgorithmsThis position is an onsite role.What You Will DoWork closely with a team of engineers to develop designs based on requirements, operational specifications, and RTX guidelinesDesign, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion, analog circuitry or servo/motor control systemsProvide support to production, integration, and test activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teamsExecute to program schedules on time and budgetDemonstrate self-motivationTravel to Marlborough, MA; Andover, MA; Woburn, MA; and/or Pelham, NH may be required depending on the assignment.Qualifications You Must HaveMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.Coursework in the following areas: Analog Electronics, Power Electronics/Systems, or Control SystemsKnowledge of modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based toolsQualifications We PreferABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.3.0 cumulative GPA desired.Hardware development experienceKnowledge of test and production methods for electronics/power system componentsExisting US DOD security clearanceWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
