This position is for 2026 Spring (April-June) RN Graduates. The successful candidate will carry out patient care responsibilities with an emphasis on decision-making related to the nursing process, providing competent and compassionate care.

What You'll Do
- Analyze unit level quality data and participate in improvement efforts.
- Contribute to and utilize the unit practice council (UPC) structure.
- Adhere to patient care and nursing standards in care delivery.
- Engage in self-assessment and peer review; promote professional development.
- Serve as a support, resource, and preceptor for nursing staff and students.
- Comply with annual education and mandatory/regulatory requirements.
- Organize staff assignments to ensure appropriate delegation of activities.
- Comply with unit-based and organizational professional standards.
- Analyze achievement of unit throughput efficiencies and metrics.
- Evaluate the patient's progress towards expected outcomes.
- Educate the patient/family regarding health status and established plan of care.
- Direct the coordination of patient care in a safe, timely, and appropriate manner.
- Collect, assess, and document patient healthcare data.
Requirements
- Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required
- Experience: Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
- Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse License-NYS
