Operator C – Production Team MemberReports to: Department Supervisor at specific Business UnitFLSA Status: NON-EXEMPTSchedule: Monday - Friday (update specific hours) Overtime as needed.Summary of duties and responsibilities:The operator is responsible for all activities on the shift in a metal stamping/assembly welding facility including, grinding, material handling, robotic welding, press operator, as well as other duties as assigned. Employees must follow standard work instructions and practice safe work habits.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Operate hand tools, power tools, assembly equipment, robotic welder, projection welder, small press, basic office equipmentPerform quality checks per company /customer specificationsPackage products to company and / or customer specificationsSort products for Quality checking and defect containmentAccurately record production associated with job or work orderPerform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, removing scrap, stocking raw or finished goods as neededGeneral Work Requirements:Basic computer skills requiredMust be able to accurately complete all required Modineer production system documentation such as production reports, inspection reports, etc.Forklift experience is a plusPhysical environment/work conditions:Manipulate small to medium sized objects, materials or tools on a routine basisMove light to moderately heavy objects up to 40 lbs. continuouslyApply a specific level of strength to move an objectUse arms/legs continually and repeatedly over an extended period of timeMove at a moderate to fast pace across specified terrain for extended periods of timeAdjust body position while performing tasksThe position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
