Starting wage is $17.00 per hourMaterial Handler is responsible for the controlled flow of all manufacturing materials from time of delivery until it is utilized in production.

Compiles receiving and stocking information for reporting purposes. Requires active participate in team meetings, problem solving and data collection.Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:Unload material from delivery trucks via hand and forkliftReport damaged shipments to Warehouse SupervisorAudit quantities received when specified or requestedAssign stock and bin locations to inventory itemsPull stock and provide materials to productionMaintain the designated stock area and perform general equipment maintenanceMove discrepant material to a segregated areaPerform cycle counts, stock counts and quantity verificationsActively participate in team problem solving, process improvement and decision makingAdvise purchasing when supplies are needed.Supply Team Leader with reports and documents are requestedProvide assembly support to the Production team when neededComply and assist with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and the pursuit of continuous improvementComplete special assignments as requested by the Warehouse SupervisorPerform packaging/shipping dutiesMaterial Handler Requirements:Must have a high school diplomaAll positions require good math skills, strong attention to detail and great attendance. Candidates must also be comfortable standing for the duration of the shift.Forklift experience desired.Required education, skills, abilities, and experience:Requires a high school diploma/GEDPrior shipping and receiving experience preferred but NOT required.Experience using inventory control systems/ERP systems preferred but NOT required.Forklift experience desired, but NOT required.Basic math and organizational skillsAbility to bend and lift 50 poundsAll positions require good math skills, strong attention to detail and great attendance.
