Material Handler - 1st ShiftLocation: Indianapolis, IN Pay: $18.50 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 5:30 AM - 2 PM Overtime: Mandatory overtime as needed Join Our Team! The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in operating warehouse equipment while maintaining productivity and inventory accuracy.Pay & BenefitsWeekly payMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) retirement planPaid Time Off (PTO)Eligibility for the Work & Win Program (opportunity to have your rent or mortgage paid for one year)Opportunity for long-term employment and career growthResponsibilitiesSafely transport materials throughout the warehouse using powered industrial equipment.Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks while following established safety procedures.Pick, pack, sort, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Accurately receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products.Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning, labeling, and documentation.Deliver materials to production or shipping areas to support daily operations.Organize products and materials in designated warehouse locations.Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company safety standards.Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.Work collaboratively with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of recent warehouse or material handling experience.Updated resume required.Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift and electric pallet jack (EPJ).Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.Excellent attendance record and reliability.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.Experience with inventory control and warehouse documentation preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.Willingness to work mandatory overtime as business needs require.Apply today and start your next career with The Job Center!
