We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Job DescriptionMonday- Friday (weekends based on production)Shift: 1st Shift 5am - 4:30pmDuties and ResponsibilitiesThe 1st Shift Material Handler is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by accurately pulling materials, delivering inventory to production lines, maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting, and unloading incoming shipments. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are available to support the production of windows in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Material Handler must follow all safety procedures, maintain accurate inventory transactions, and work effectively with Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse teams.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPull and stage materials according to production schedules, work orders(pour requests or pick lists.)Deliver required components and raw materials to designated production lines in a timely manner.Replenish production line inventory as needed to prevent downtime.Unload incoming trucks safely and efficiently using material handling equipment.Verify incoming materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.Put away received materials into designated inventory locations.Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.Investigate and report inventory discrepancies to supervision.Maintain accurate inventory transactions using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.Organize warehouse inventory and maintain clean, orderly storage areas.Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices where applicable.Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse functions as required.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity.Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing environment preferred.Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment preferred.Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.Ability to read and understand work orders, inventory reports, and receiving documentation.Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Good communication and organizational skills.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and lift materials.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.Ability to work in varying temperatures common in a warehouse and manufacturing facility.Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.Additional InformationOur Location: 9001 Ambassador Row Dallas, TX 75247Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
