Material HandlerMaterial Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving product and shipping orders, ensuring they are processed, put away, picked, and shipped in a timely and secure manner. This position requires use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks. You will be expected to work at a fast pace, be attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and be able to embrace change.
Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position and cross-training opportunities may be required. We offer on-site training and mentoring for all positions. If you work well in a team-centered environment and are passionate and ambitious about meeting goals and deadlines, then you have found the right place!SHIFT SCHEDULE & WAGEMonday-Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PMStarting wage is $20.00/hr and a potential of up to $0.88 in raises every 6 monthsResponsibilitiesRetrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using our handheld scanning devices and ERP system, completed on foot or using forklift equipmentSort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processingPack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system or CVP machines, focusing on providing an excellent customer experienceBundle and verify orders for shipment, ensure order accuracy, and operate the bundler systemUnload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by handUse our ERP system to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiency, ready to be placed in storage rackingMove palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock, or transport product to other areas of the distribution centerScan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device, ready for warehouse operationsOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standardsMeet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of workMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goalsAbide by all company and warehouse policiesFlex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
