Packing Associate
Pack extruded aluminum profiles per specified packing instructions in our extrusion, packing, or paint department.
Monday-Thursday: 10-hour shifts. 6am-4:30pm. Occasional overtime during peak production periods-Friday 6am-2:30pm. Weekends off.
Ensure proper packing materials are used and parts are securely bundled. Inspect the material for scratches, dents, and twists. Count parts and verify all information on routing tags. Log information from routing tags. Verify critical dimensions per print on aluminum extrusions. Operate forklift. Report to the manager and the lead person and follow their instructions. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Provide excellent customer service by taking ownership of customer needs and following issues through to resolution. Demonstrate 360-degree thinking in all professional tasks. Be agile in managing goals, plans, and tasks.
Ability to stand for 8 - 10 hours and bend at the waist. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Basic computer and math skills. Ability to read micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and use small hand tools. Excellent attendance and reliability. Ability to read and follow instructions.
