TRC not only serves local businesses it also has a global footprint across more than 96 countries, with an operational presence in addition to the USA, including China, Belgium, Japan, Brazil, and Thailand.Summary:We are currently looking for both entry level and experienced Machine Operators to work within our Assembly & Packaging department to operate various machines that assemble, various types of tire repairs manufactured from rubber, fabric, plastics, paper, adhesives, and other materials.Job Requirements/Skills:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to lift carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to stand walk bend and reach for extended periodsBasic math and reading skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as neededForklift certification or experience preferred but will train and certify through company safety training if required.Essential Job Responsibilities:Follows all safety guidelines including guarding and other protective device usageReports all incidents, no matter how minor, so they can be addressedReads, understands, and follows ISO documents and work instructionsOperates machines with manual, computer, or PLC controlsCross trains on equipment as assigned as needed by lead, supervisor, or managerRotates through breaks and fills in on other trained positions as assignedKeeps machines fed with materialsLoads and aligns rolls of materials while keeping accurate inventory of roll weightsChanges and adjusts basic machine components like rollers and slittersVerifies Work In Process and finished goods meet quality specifications as they are processedRecords labor and production accuratelyLabels Work In Process and boxes and packages finished products according to quality specificationsKeeps machines and work clean and orderlyRecommends changes that improve safety, quality, and productivity and participates in product and process improvement eventsClearly communicates machine or other problems as encountered. Works with Machine Operators and/or Maintenance as neededPhysical Demands:Must be able to stand for long periods of timeFrequently exerting or lifting up to 55 lbs. daily.

Frequently pushing, pulling and or lifting are required.Work Environment:Warehouse and Manufacturing environment standard PPE requirements are Safety shoes and safety glasses.
