1st Shift Leak Test (TIG Welding)

Job Description Job Description Leak Tester (TIG Welding): Sterling, Illinois (1st Shift) Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We're recruiting Leak Testers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Leak Tester, you will be responsible for TIG welding, setting up welders, reading blueprints, and ensuring product quality. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate necessary equipment. Responsibilities of the Leak Tester :

• Perform MIG and TIG welding efficiently.
• Correctly set up TIG welders for wire speed and/or amperage.
• Properly set up and use an oxygen/acetylene torch for cutting as needed.
• Accurately cut off and replace weldments, including elements in radiators.
• Scan and transact finished radiators in the computer system.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Read a metric tape measure.
• Safely operate an overhead crane.
• Maintain company safety standards, including PPE usage and safe work practices.
• Keep work areas clean and hazard-free.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Leak Tester Requirements and Qualifications:

• Steel-toed shoes required for safety.
• Must pass a 4-panel drug test.
• Experience in MIG and TIG welding preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Previous machine operation experience is a plus but will train the right candidate.

Pay for Leak Tester : Starting at $21.42/hour. Leak Tester Benefits:
