Feed Truck OperatorPrimarily responsible for loading feed trucks with appropriate feed type and quantity. Obtain daily samples of all feed types per company sampling requirements and policies. Performs work in compliance with all company policies, GMP's, FSMA regulations, local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.Role And ResponsibilitiesUnder minimal supervision, operate feed bulk load-out system, load and weigh feed trucks with required feed type and quantityCommunicate and coordinate schedule and production with personnel to maximize efficiencyReport equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel in a timely manner to reduce down timeTake and record daily inventoriesProvide documentation on feed invoices and ingredient weight tickets as requestedFollow all safety and quality proceduresWork in compliance with all company policies, GMP's, FSMA regulations and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulationsAll other duties as assignedEducation And CertificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not requiredExperience And SkillsIntermediate math (add, subtract, multiply and/or divide proportions, percentages, area, volume, etc.)Basic computer knowledge and usage skillsExperience in working with agricultural and/or farm equipment preferredAbility to work unsupervised and self-motivateAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hoursSound work ethic, honesty and moral characterSafety RequirementsFollow departmental and company safety policies and programsMust wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required.Physical RequirementsAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hoursFrequently stoop, kneel, crawl and bendFrequently climb stairs and 50+ foot laddersAbility to lift and carry 50 - 100 lbsAbility to work in confined spacesConstantly subject to dusty, hot environmentsFrequently work in loud environment requiring ear protectionFrequently exposed to moving mechanical partsAbility to work at heights of 200+ ftAbility to operate a pallet jack with 2,000+ lbs.
