1st Shift MachinistShift: 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through FridayPay: Depends on experience, open to experienced and entry level candidatesJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled machinist to join our team for a 1st shift position. The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and CNC machines and be comfortable working independently on large, heavy fabricated parts.ResponsibilitiesTear down old valves and inventory salvageable parts.Assemble brand new valves using nuts, bolts, pipes, pipe fittings, gaskets, and seals.Test assembled valves to ensure quality and functionality.Essential Skills2+ years of machinist experience.Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on multiple machines.2+ years of experience using hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience running a Toshiba Boring/Milling machine with Tosnuc 999.Experience operating a large (180" capacity) CNC G&L vertical turning lathe.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harmony, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
