Shift AssemblerThe Shift Assembler loads parts onto a powder coating line and supports production activities in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. This role involves frequent lifting, kneeling, bending, and reaching, as well as the use of basic hand and power tools. The position suits individuals who enjoy active, hands-on work and can maintain a steady pace throughout the shift. No prior experience is required, and candidates with a background in production or similar work environments tend to succeed in this role.ResponsibilitiesLoad parts onto the powder coating line in a consistent, efficient, and safe manner.Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.Perform frequent kneeling, bending, and reaching while maintaining a reasonably quick work pace.Operate a DA (dual-action) sander to prepare parts as needed.Use a cordless drill and other basic power tools to support assembly and production tasks.Handle hand tools and tape measures accurately to ensure parts and components meet basic specifications.Follow production instructions and work orders to complete tasks on time.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.Collaborate with team members to keep the production line running smoothly.Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures in a hot, non-climate-controlled environment.Essential SkillsAbility to frequently lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.Comfort performing repetitive physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, and reaching.Capability to work at a reasonably quick pace for extended periods.Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools, including cordless drills.Ability to use a tape measure accurately.Strong work ethic with self-motivation and the ability to stay on task with minimal supervision.Reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality.Willingness to work in a hot, non-climate-controlled environment.No prior experience required; openness to learning on the job.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in production, construction, assembly, or concrete work is beneficial.Background in using hand tools and power tools in a work setting is an advantage.Experience working in fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environments is helpful.Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities on the production line.Attention to detail when handling parts and tools.Why Work Here?You will join a production environment where your effort and pace make a direct impact on daily results.
