Job Title: Developer/Programmer Analyst 3The Railroad Commission of Texas ITS division requires the services of one experienced Salesforce Developer technical resource preferably with knowledge/experience in Salesforce event management systems, who meets the general qualification of a Programmer/Developer 3 in Salesforce technology. The Worker will apply their expert knowledge of Salesforce event management systems in the technology to support the needs of internal ITS development project teams.Minimum Requirements:Required - 4 Yr Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience.Required - 5+ or more years of Salesforce systems implementation experience.Required - 5+ or more years of experience building custom APEX and Visualforce solutions.Required - 5+ or more years of experience with Salesforce, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functional and application designRequired - Salesforce Developer Certification • Total years of experience may run concurrently. • Excellent analytical and coding skills.Preferred:Experience with Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Workflows, Triggers, REST API.Experience with working with Tableau, Microsoft BI or similar data visualization tools.Experience with Exporting, Reporting and Publishing information from Salesforce.Salesforce Administration and Configuration Experience (Sites, Security, CORS, Connected Apps, etc.)Experience with Salesforce Sandboxes, Integrations and Application Development.The primary work location(s) will be at 1701 N.
Congress Ave. 78701. Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the Candidate's and/or Vendor's expense.Railroad Commission of Texas will provide pre-approved, written authorization for travel for any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s).
Pre-approved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified employees, including any requirement for original receipts.Other Special Requirements:Analyze, design, code, and as required test enhancements to complex modules.Design, develop, and modify web applications for complex agency information technology systems.Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs.Develop data conversion and system implementation plans.Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation.Design a new database schema to persist data from the new application.Follow RRC security framework, architecture, and high-level design similar to the other newer applications developed using Salesforce framework etc.Work on the integration with the mainframe, external document service and existing web services, or create new web services when needed.
