Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analog and microwave background to design analog and RF radar subsystems
- Ability to troubleshoot system and subsystem-level problems
- Ability to develop chain analysis for product requirements
- Understanding of frequency plans for up and down conversion
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Experience with high precision RF over fiber, RF chain analysis, and troubleshooting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with Office products
- Experience with Ansys HFSS
- Radar design experience of low-level electronics
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Personnel Clearance Level
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher
- Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
Essential Job Duties (Not All-Inclusive)
- Lead a small team of hardware engineers
- Follow quality procedures to comply with ISO requirements
- Travel occasionally to sites
- Generate requirements for radar subsystems based on technical and customer requirements
- Design subsystems - includes analog/RF signal integrity, control wiring, power, and thermal considerations
- Develop test plans for subsystems
- Test and troubleshoot system and subsystem-level problems
- Be the lead hardware engineer for a project
Salary Range
$140,000 - $180,000 annually.
