Overview

For over 50 years, MHMR has provided community-based services for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental health conditions, and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. Responsibilities and qualifications are described below. This role supports and implements a patient care plan created by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and provides ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors so children and youth can build and improve their communication, social interaction skills, problem solving skills, coping skills, and functioning within relationships, daily routines, and activities. Delivers services and practices under the direction and close supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Minimum Education, Preferences, Experience, Certifications

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Preferences: Bachelors Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Years’ Experience: One (1) year
  • License/Certifications: Have completed the RBT 40-hour training program and Complete and pass RBT competency Assessment
