Job Description: ITEC has an immediate need for a full stack data developer. The individual will:Engineer both the front end for user to interface and the back end for processing and data storageEngineer solutions for continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline and for scalability to meet surge demandsConduct exploratory data analysis on new sources of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) data, creating discovery opportunities for optimization of AI and ML applications across the enterprise in support of operationsContinually research current and emerging ISR capabilities as well as data technologies, proposing changes to continuously improve space operationsCreate, maintain, and track the design of data pipelines utilized to streamline data ingestion, scale data streams, and develop predictive analytic productsWork with developers and ML engineering staff to ensure standardized process, scalability with local teams, and monitoring and maintenance of operational metricsImplement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysisCollaborate with external DoD and IC groups to facilitate data collection, cyber security compliance, and inter-agency communicationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, network engineers, and software engineers to understand data requirements and develop scalable data solutionsDevelop, maintain, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure the timely and accurate movement of data from source systems to data warehouses and other storage solutionsRequirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related fieldExperience: Proven experience as a data engineer or in a similar role with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex data pipelinesExpertise in Python, Flask, Javascript, React, Django, ComgoDB, Kubernettes, AWS cloud computing, and Linux terminal environmentExpertise in Linux systems administration and information assurance within a DevSecOps environmentDeep understanding of Linux operating system principles, notably Linux distributions such as Red Hat or CentOSKnowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift and AWS servicesFamiliar with container security scanning procedures and remediation within CI/CD pipelinesExperience within network architecture and TCP/IP protocols within Linux environmentsExperience managing documentation and code in Git LabSolid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehousing concepts and data modeling principlesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as SWD, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with cloud-based data servicesEffective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDesired Skills:Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related fieldPrevious space experience at the operational/theater levels (e.g. Combatant Command, Joint/Combined Task Force, Component)Experience with data orchestration and workflow management tools is a plusUnderstanding of DevOps principles and practices related to data engineering is a plusExperience in supporting USSPACECOM, AFSPACE, NAVSPACE, MARFORSPACE, or SMDC/ARSPACE operations and/or exercisesExperience working on classified networks and interfacing with military staff at the operational and strategic levelSecurity+ certificationMachine learning experience and/or artificial intelligence experienceExperience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworksBenefits: ITEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of ManpowerGroup Public Sector.
