Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license
- Previous experience delivering 1:1 care, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Comfortable working with students at varying developmental and educational levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to follow care plans and respond calmly in emergency medical situations
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Provide direct 1:1 medical care and supervision for assigned students throughout the school day
- Monitor health status, administer medications, and implement prescribed interventions
- Collaborate proactively with educators, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate and confidential records aligned with school policies and legal requirements
- Serve as a compassionate resource, encouraging student confidence and participation in school activities
- Respond promptly to health concerns or emergencies, delivering appropriate first aid and care
