Silver Creek Central School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Elementary School team. This is an anticipated full-time opening for the upcoming school year.
Position Summary:
The Teaching Assistant will work under the direction of the classroom teacher to reinforce instruction, support the implementation of curriculum, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for elementary students. This role is central to ensuring individualized support reaches students who need it most.
Requirements:

Valid NYS Teaching Assistant Certificate,orNYS Certification in Birth-Grade 2 / Grades 1-6

Working knowledge of the Core Standards

Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset

Flexibility and comfort working in a variety of instructional settings

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Description:

Reinforce classroom instruction and assist in implementing curriculum under the direction of the certified teacher
