Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance
  • 2 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent experience in operational accounting including audit, documentation, and control testing

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with systems implementations or improving business processes and systems, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Technical accounting skills, including a solid understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP (Revenue ASC 606, Cost of Obtaining a Contract ASC 340-40)
  • Excellemt analytical skills and proven ability to lead and drive complex initiatives cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment across a large, complex, global organization
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional business partners
  • Detailed oriented with a track record of establishing reliable steady-state manual processes and transforming into scalable automated workflows

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$151,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional Month End Close (MEC) operations to provide high-quality financial reporting and fluctuation analysis. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable financial reporting and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Understand end-to-end (policy to payout) sales commissions, to envision, design and support reporting and accounting per (Revenue ASC 606, Cost of Obtaining a Contract ASC 340-40).
  • Identify accounting risks for new offerings and go-to-market strategies, developing proactive management plans.
  • Leverage end-to-end process knowledge to implement and monitor internal controls.
  • Work with technical partners on business requirement documentation to enhance systems and financial insights.
