POSITION Guest Monitor LOCATION Cincinnati, OH PAY RATE $16.32 Hourly Dedicated School Staffing is proud to support West Clermont Local Schools for the recruitment of substitute school based employment opportunities. Guest Monitors play an important role in our schools by maintaining school safety and performing important administrative tasks which help in the day-to-day running of a school. Responsibilities Greets visitors, answers questions and directs them to the proper location Monitors students and maintains order in the building and on the premises during: Emergency drills In-school restriction After school events School activities Escorts disruptive students to the office Escorts students to class, as required Assists teachers during emergencies that occur in the classroom Reports to Principal and supervisor situations, changes in students' routine or rumors that may be a potential problem for the school Reports vandalism to the custodians and the Assistant Principal's office Checks students for proper passes when leaving and returning to the building Monitors school lavatories and assist in controlling inappropriate student behavior Assists with lock and locker assignments and maintenance Completes assigned custodial tasks Performs additional duties and assignments, as requested Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years old After Hire (Contingent) Ohio Department of Education Student Monitor Permit FBI & BCI Background checks dated within 12 months (Cost varies per agency).
