POSITION Long-Term Title 1 Tutor LOCATION Cleves, Ohio PAY RATE $18.22 Per Hour Dedicated School Staffing proudly services Three Rivers Local School District for their substitute classified employees. We are currently recruiting for a Long-Term Title 1 Tutor. Previous work experience with school aged children is preferred. Responsibilities Support Title 1 Teacher by assisting students in reinforcing concepts, preparing necessary material, recording and maintaining files. Knowledge of Dibble, NWEA, Orton Gillingham, LLI or willing to learn these curricula and learning concepts Support students onsite rotate from class to class Knowledge of state testing Physically able to perform required duties Ability to deal effectively, assertively, and pleasantly with public, staff and students Desired Candidate Profile: Demonstrates integrity and reliability Positive attitude Dedication to the students the district serves Related experience with special needs children or adults, and/or direct care preferred Dedicated School Staffing Requirements Three positive professional work references Online Public School Works Training (we provide): Blood-Borne Pathogens School Lock Down Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness Bullying After Hire (Contingent): Ohio Teaching Certificate or License, as issued by the Ohio State Department of Education or Associate’s Degree or higher preferred Clean FBI/BCI Background checks (cost depending on agency) Educational Aide Permit ($25) with ESEA Endorsement ($20) (We can assist with the online application process and completion) Details Placement is dependent on district needs Enrollment in State Employee Retirement System (SERS) Options for Minor Medical benefit are available
