Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working in a server technical environment, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience in performance evaluation and test development for network, storage, GPU, and memory components.
  • Understanding of computer systems (physical, thermal, and software) and familiarity with common interfaces like PCIe, CXL, and I3C.
  • Ability to characterize CPU/Memory quality through statistical analysis and perform methodical root-cause failure analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an approach to task follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and mobilize resources across various environments to perform electrical, functional, and reliability testing.
  • Collaborate with Original Design Manufacturer/Joint Design Manufacturer (ODMs/JDMs) to verify that all hardware solutions strictly adhere to internal standards and performance requirements.
  • Identify bugs and drive corrective actions with internal development teams and external suppliers to ensure rapid resolution.
  • Maintain and improve the qualification process, focusing on Gen-to-Gen optimization and overall test efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance test quality and streamline methodologies to support evolving hardware architectures and project timelines.
