After School Childcare Assistant - John D Perkins Adcademy

Healthy Kids Programs is looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Childcare Assistants for our 2025-2026 school year. JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt LOCATION: John D Perkins Academy in Marlow, NH PAY: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour HOURS: 2:15 - 5:00 pm JOB CONSISTS OF: Assist with engaging, hands-on activities aligned with our Healthy Kids Curriculum, from fitness and STEAM to academic exploration, creative arts, and more plus supporting students with homework when needed. Help foster a safe, healthy, and super-fun space where kids feel supported and excited to grow, while serving as a positive role model every day. Maintain open communication with parents and families through the Playground App to share updates and special moments. Stay up to date and compliant with OCFS regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and all host school guidelines. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of experience working with children under 13; candidates with both qualifications are preferred. Must be medically cleared and free of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis. Warm and approachable demeanor, strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with children, families, and staff, as well as a high level of professionalism, reliability, and punctuality is required Must be physically capable of bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, and prepared to perform a variety of physical tasks necessary to support and engage with children in an active environment PART-TIME BENEFITS: Employer Paid Childcare - Available for school-age children (ages 5 13) enrolled in our program, on the days you work.
