Journeyman or Master Heavy Rental Equipment Shop and Field Mechanics

We are seeking Journeyman Heavy Equipment and Rental Equipment Mechanics on 5 Hawaiian Islands. If this location doesn't work, we have 4 additional locations to choose from

Core Responsibilities: handle advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics and major overhauls without direct supervision in the field and/or shop.

System Diagnostics: Use multiple diagnostic software to troubleshoot failures in hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.

Major Repairs: Disassembling and reassembling heavy components such as transmissions, crawler heads, engine blocks, undercarriage, attachments, hydraulic components, etc.

Field Service: Traveling to remote worksites to improvise repairs under difficult environmental conditions.

Preventative Maintenance: Scheduling and conducting routine inspections to ensure machine safety and maximize equipment lifespan.

Mentorship: Guiding and training apprentices as they progress toward their own journeyman status.

Requirements:
Minimum 8-10 years and have a Journeyman or Master level status pertaining to the repair of various types and brands of construction and general dirt rental equipment.

Must have master set of tools required to perform the role of Journeyman Mechanic effectively

Welding, fabricating, line boring, machining as needed

Top and bottom engine experience

Must have valid license in good standing with no restrictions for field positions

Must pass pre employment drug test and physical
