Position Overview
Join Voice Up Publishing as an Adult Education Support Intern, focusing on creating inclusive learning environments for adult learners and English language learners. This role involves developing multilingual support strategies and building partnerships with higher education institutions to better serve diverse adult learning populations. Candidates who speak Spanish, French, Mandarin, Hindi, Tamil, or other international languages are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Research best practices in adult education and ESL support
- Create educational resources in multiple languages
- Develop partnership strategies with higher education institutions
- Design culturally and linguistically responsive learning materials
- Provide direct support in target languages
- Participate in weekly Saturday afternoon collaborative sessions with our nationwide team of student leaders
- Document successful multilingual support strategies
- Build multilingual resource libraries

Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles
- Experience with ESL or language learning
- Cultural competency and sensitivity
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Basic understanding of higher education systems
- Interest in adult education

Preferred Language Skills

- 100% remote position with flexible scheduling
