Industrial Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects within industrial and commercial settings. This role involves managing on-site operations, supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software and technical drawings. As a pivotal leader on the project site, you will coordinate activities to meet project deadlines, stay within budget, and uphold safety regulations while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide onsite activities.
• Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid to optimize project timelines.
• Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy; manage changes or discrepancies as needed.
• Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Oversee quality control processes, ensuring work meets industry standards and client specifications.
• Manage subcontractor contracts, procurement processes, and project documentation using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and progress meetings to monitor project health.
• Supervise team members’ performance, provide coaching, and facilitate effective communication across all levels of the crew.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling adjustments, and resource allocation for successful project delivery.

Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Foreman, Lead, or Superintendent in industrial, marine, or heavy concrete construction.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, including formwork, reinforcing steel, foundations, retaining walls, structural concrete, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Experience operating or directing heavy equipment is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe construction practices.
• Ability to manage multiple crews, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Coordinate eye-hand movements with control and precision.
Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures; and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction).
Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Stoop, lay, bend or squat for long periods of time.
Must be able to work at extreme heights.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Will be exposed to fumes, dust, or other airborne particles.
Will be exposed to loud noises.
Will be exposed to extreme heights.
Will be working from barges on inland marine facilities.
Position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and vibrating machinery.
Will be exposed to extreme outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity or cold and wet conditions.
May be exposed to hazardous chemicals.

OTHER:
• Drivers License Required, CDL preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required.

• Shiftwork may be required.
• Holiday and weekend work may be required.

Must possess and bring hand and power tools to each job site such as:
Squares, Levels, Hammers, Pry Bar, Plumb Bob, Wrenches, Allen Keys, Socket Wrenches, Pliers, Files, Trowels, Snips, Chisels, Pipe Wrenches, Clams, Punches, and Reamers.
